Support for Young Carers
This summer, I've launched a campaign calling on the Government to require every school in England to appoint a dedicated Young Carers Champion.
Backed by a public petition, this campaign will ensure every school has a trained member of staff responsible for identifying young carers and leading the school's approach to supporting them.
Across the country, young carers are supporting their loved ones, all while trying to keep up with school and the pressures of growing up.
Too many are struggling in silence because their circumstances have gone unnoticed. A Young Carers Champion in every school would be a simple but life-changing step, ensuring there is someone responsible for identifying young carers and making sure they get the support they need.

Campaign for NHS Dentistry
I’m campaigning to fix NHS dentistry because too many local people are struggling to access the care they need.
Residents regularly tell me they cannot find an NHS dentist, and children are missing out on routine check-ups as practices reduce NHS services or close them altogether.
At the same time, millions of pounds allocated to dentistry in Dorset have gone unspent or been diverted elsewhere. I’m calling for urgent reform of the NHS dental contract and for dental funding to be spent on dental services, so everyone can get timely, affordable dental care.
