Keeping Bikes Safe
I’ve launched a petition to keep bikes safe at train stations, making it easier for people to choose active, sustainable travel.
Last year, I campaigned for improved bike safety by calling for Operation Bike Bait — a dedicated national unit within the National Crime Agency to tackle bike crime. You can read more about that campaign here.
In 2026 , I’m continuing this work by calling for secure bike lockers at railway stations, helping prevent theft before it happens, and giving commuters confidence to cycle to their local station.

Have your say on junk food advertising near schools 🚨
I’ve launched a local poll to ask residents a simple question:
Should local councils have the power to restrict fast-food advertising near schools, youth clubs and other places where young people spend time?
The Government’s new ban on junk food ads on TV and online is welcome — but it doesn’t go far enough. Children still see junk food adverts on billboards, bus stops and shopfronts every day.
That’s why I pushed for an amendment, developed with Jamie Oliver’s team and the Obesity Health Alliance, to give councils the power to act locally. Ministers should put party politics aside and accept this important amendment.
