Local Infrastructure

Wareham Rail Crossing
Government can often feel detached from our every-day lives. Yet where issues crop up, they often have to be resolved at the executive level. It is easy, and not always incorrect, to blame ‘people with their heads in the sand’ up in Parliament. I recognise the privilege of my position and will always use it to unstick local infrastructure obstacles.
The Wareham rail crossing is a key issue for local residents, particularly regarding accessibility and safety. In March, I brought together Network Rail, the Rail Minister, and Dorset Council to secure its long-term future.
As your MP, I will continue working with local partners to deliver practical solutions that make a real difference to our communities.
