Health Care
Championing hospice and palliative care and improving access to local GP and pharmacy services.

Hospice and Palliative Care
I am passionate about ensuring everyone in Dorset and across the country can access high-quality hospice and palliative care when they need it most. Services such as Julia’s House Children’s Hospice and Lewis-Manning Hospice Care are lifelines for families yet face devastating funding pressures.
Action Snapshot:
-
I raised serious concerns directly with the Minister of State for Care, Stephen Kinnock.
-
I met with local hospices to hear first-hand about their challenges.
-
I chaired a parliamentary roundtable on palliative care in remote, island, and rural communities.
-
I completed an Alternative Triathlon challenge to raise funds for Julia’s House. Please consider supporting their incredible work.
