Vikki Slade MP welcomes Ofwat overhaul in sewage regulation move

Liberal Democrat MP Vikki Slade has welcomed the scrapping of Ofwat, calling it a major step towards ending sewage pollution in Mid Dorset and North Poole.

She said the decision follows growing public concern about sewage being released into rivers and coastal waters, including a recent incident in the River Stour at Eye Bridge, where people reportedly fell ill and dead fish were seen in the water.
